Overall rating: 10/10
One of our favorite board books, It's Spring! is filled with beautiful illustrations and sweet rhyming text.  The story follows several friendly animals as they spread the news of the season across the sunny countryside.  Melissa Sweet's watercolor illustrations are truly lovely and bring this simple poetic story to life.

This book is perfect for very young readers!  The illustrations suit the story perfectly, allowing non-readers to follow along & helping emergent readers decipher the text.  The characters are gleeful & sweet as they cheerfully spread the news of spring, and the board book format makes it durable enough for babies and toddlers to read again and again.
